Desert Orangery

Location: UAE | Year: 2024 | Client: Not disclosed | Architect: Not disclosed

This futuristic orangery, located among the sand dunes of Dubai, combines organic architecture with the principles of sustainable development. The building has a smooth, wave-like shape that seems to echo the relief of the desert, creating a harmonious dialogue between nature and technology.
The complex consists of several connected volumes with a corrugated metal facade and panoramic glazing. The roofs integrate green areas and a natural ventilation system that helps regulate the microclimate inside. The space functions as a botanical center, research platform, and public park under a dome.
Inside, there is a controlled climate, exotic plants, interactive exhibition areas, and recreation areas. The project demonstrates the possibility of creating a green oasis even in the most extreme climatic conditions.
The greenhouse is becoming a new symbol of ecological architecture in the Middle East — a place where innovation transforms the desert into a living landscape.
